Jennifer Crighton is a film and television costume designer, curator and consent-forward artist.
Jennifer Crighton specializes in brining stories to life. Educated as a visual artist and raised in a theatre family, she brings the two worlds together with her thoughtful and carefully researched work. She has designed created performance garments for dance, theatre and musical performances.
She became a member of IATSE in 2017 and since then has worked consistently in film and television, gaining a wealth of experience within the costume department by working many different positions on a variety of different teams.
She began her journey as a film Costume Designer with multiple award nominations for the 2023 Indie horror film Dark Nature, and is excited to continue building her film design portfolio.
In 2023 she became a Consent Forward Artist through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) an ACTRA approved certification aimed at keeping people safe when working intimate scenes for stage and screen.
